Welcoming 2016.
A new year and a new city to explore!
My eldest sister and her family has been to Japan a couple of times before and highly recommends exploring the beautiful country. So we planned our trip and booked our flights early in 2015 for low ticket prices (OH YES).
We celebrated Christmas in Manila and on the next day packed our bags and headed to the airport.
My family and I spent a week in Japan and all I could say is that every hour and day we spent there I was in awe of it's culture and beauty.

We stayed in hotel Jal City perfecty located a few minutes away from the train station.

Settling in and exploring the city:
It was a cold windy night and not a lot of shops were open since it was really late. We opted to go to a local restaurant and had our late dinner. We ended up touring the city, just walking and taking everything in. We then headed back to the hotel to get a good night's rest.
During our stay, we toured around the city and explored the stations (The nearest station to us was the "Tamachi" station). We did a lot of eating and temple visits. We were able to experience the night market in Japan, we were able to enjoy (a little bit - due to the quantity of people in the park) Disneyland sea and did a whole lot of shopping. *If you plan to visit Disneyland, better be ready for the long lines..*

Our stay in Japan required us to do a lot of walking. I kid you not! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and if I were given the chance to do it all over again, that I would gladly do! I can't wait to go back next year!
